Description

SCA invites our NYC-area alumni, current members, friends, and supporters for a special urban hike in Hudson River Park in Manhattan, led by Tina Walsh, Hudson River Park Assistant Director of Environmental Education & SCA Alumni Council Chair.

Hudson River Park is a 550-acre riverside park and estuarine sanctuary located on the west side of Manhattan between Battery Place and W. 59th Street. With five miles of continuous bike path, in addition to free summer kayaking, nature walks, fishing programs, historic maritime vessels, and more, Hudson River Park offers ways for every New Yorker to connect to the waterfront. Since 2012, SCA has been proud to partner with the Hudson River Park Trust to have SCA members serve each year as part of the park's education team.

WHEN: Saturday, June 10th, 10am-12pm (hike ends around 12pm, optional picnic lunch and/or extended hike on the High Line to follow)

WHERE: Pier 25, Hudson River Park, New York, NY 10013 (meet at the Pier 25 Comfort Station). See Google Maps pin.
